The feedback for the latest single is in. Gabriel Rivera over at Indie Boulevard recently sat down and gave “Twenty TwentyFive” (feat. Talios Wing), and it’s safe to say he felt the weight of the void we were aiming for.
In a genre where darkness is often used as a “special effect,” Rivera notes that this track attempts something a bit more structural. He writes:
“PostOmnis builds his sound on what most producers treat as decoration… the darkness in ‘Twenty TwentyFive’ has a bottom, and something is growing down there.”

Submerging into the Sound
The review highlights the “industrial horror” and “witch house” influences of the track, noting the “warm and scalding” keys and the pressurized rap delivery of the opening seconds. We’ve always viewed the atmosphere of horror films not just as a coat of paint, but as a territory to be inhabited. It’s gratifying to see that immersion is recognized as a path toward awareness, rather than just fear.
Rivera also points out the organic chemistry of the collaboration, noting Talios Wing’s contribution feels like “complicity,” creating a result that is both whole and dense with meaning.

The Instrument of Patience
One of the most interesting takeaways from the review was the critique of the track’s hypnotic, looping middle section. Which I’m so glad was identified in the heart of the song. Rivera describes it as a deliberate use of the listener’s patience:
“The deeper the immersion, the harder the cut-off hits… the track passes through the darkness honestly, all the way through, and that is precisely why its final cut-off and the slow return to light feels earned.”
At the end of the day, “Twenty TwentyFive” was designed to be a therapeutic descent. A slow burn that requires you to let go before you can return to the light.
