I am excited to share a deep dive into my latest PostOmnis release, Mysticism, recently published by Illustrate Magazine.

In their feature, the publication explores the atmospheric and "world-building" nature of the album, describing it as a "defining statement" for the project. The review highlights the intentional tension between light and shadow that defines these tracks, noting balance between expansive synth textures and precise industrial elements.

"A Release That Fully Realizes Seán Graves Vision"

One of the most rewarding aspects of this review was the recognition of the album's cohesive narrative. Illustrate Magazine writes:

"Transitions between tracks feel intentional, almost ritualistic, as if each composition is part of a broader sonic continuum rather than a standalone moment... There's an underlying unease that lingers throughout, reinforced by the project's ability to shift between ambient stillness and move rhythm-driven passages without losing cohesion."

The review further discusses the move away from traditional structures in favor of abstraction, an approach that has always been central to the PostOmnis identity. By focusing on mood and texture, Mysticism aims to create an immersive experience that rewards focused, repeated listening.
